At K2 Dental we provide a number of solutions to replace missing teeth and fill gaps, the most appropriate of which will be discussed with you during your consultation:
A dental bridge is a fixed or removable device that replaces missing or several missing teeth. A dental bridge will use the teeth either side of the gap to anchor onto. A dental bridge is only possible if the teeth supporting the bridge are strong enough and if they have good bone support.
Dental Implants are the modern way to replace missing teeth. An implant consists of a post which is inserted into the gums and an artificial tooth which attaches to the post. They are durable, long lasting and made to appear as if they emerge naturally from the gum.
All-on-4 is a revolutionary new dental implant treatment. Also referred to as “teeth in a day”, “same day teeth” or “same day smile”, All-on-4 provides you with a new set of teeth with only four implants as opposed to a full set of implants, which is far more invasive.
A denture is a prosthetic device either fixed or removable and replaces a single tooth, multiple missing teeth or a full arch of teeth. Dentures are used as more of a budget alternative to bridges & implants.
Bridges & implants are the preferred method of tooth replacement. Dentures are more of the budget option for teeth replacement. We will suggest the most appropriate treatment after an initial consultation with you.
Just as its important to look after your teeth, it’s also important to look after your tooth replacement option. Routine dental examinations will ensure your replacement option is healthy and regular dental hygiene appointments will keep the area around your tooth replacement device clean, preventing decay to neighbouring teeth and gum disease.
