Here at K2 Dental we always like to keep up to date when it comes to dental technology.

Over the last few years we have seen huge advances in dental methods  and procedures which are often supported by dedicated technologies that help to make our job easier. And if our tasks can be aided by better technology then it is you – our clients – that reap the long term benefits.

It’s for these reasons that we are proud to announce our latest investment in dental technology – the Leica M320 F12 Dental Microscope!

Without wanting to sound too ‘techy’ I have to say that the microscope’s contemporary and sleek design will be a welcome addition to our dental studio and will be an important part of our overall toolset. The Leica M320 F12 is the first instrument of its kind explicitly designed for modern dental microsurgery and we can’t wait to get started with it. It is far superior to many other older models that are still currently available. The microscope combines the world-renowned Leica optics with functional precision and state-of-the-art technology including LED illumination and high-definition documentation. Another useful benefit is that all the relevant data can be saved on a SD Memory Card.

The reason we are so excited about this new microscope is because it is able to provide absolutely clear, crisp, and bright images with an amazing depth of field! For dentists this means a much clearer view of what we are doing which will lead to better treatments and outcomes for our clients and faster results too. K2 Dental are one of the first clinics in the UK to have acquired this new technology and we are looking forward to reaping the benefits straight away.

Put more simply the microscope will enable us to undertake some of our routine tasks and procedures with even more precision – particularly with root canal treatments, fillings and dental crowns etc.

Dentistry has always needed both precision and skill and anything that can help us achieve our objectives more effectively has got to be a good thing.
