Is Cosmetic Dentistry for me?

Cosmetic dentistry can be for anyone. How do I get a natural smile?

Not everyone wants a Hollywood smile and creating that natural healthy smile is something we are great at. We can use a series of treatments depending on your requirements to make sure your teeth and smile look natural. Our practitioners are experts in a wide range of treatments, so we can offer what we feel is right for you. However, if it is that bleached white look you're after, then look no further, this is also one of our forte's.

How experienced are the dentists?

The practice is a family run business created by Zaki & Dominique Kanaan, two of the UK's most respected dentists. They have honed their skills from attending many courses both nationally and internationally. Zaki sits on the Board of Directors of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, they both write for industry publications, lecture on several aspects of dental treatment and are well known in the dental arena. How long will my treatment take?

A course of tooth whitening may take as little as 1 hour, whereas a more extensive course of treatment involving braces or full mouth reconstructions, may take up to a year. We make sure you receive our full ongoing support both during and after your treatments.

Will my treatment be pain free?

We strive for total patient comfort and one thing that we pride ourselves on is our gentle approach. We also do everything we can to lessen the post-treatment discomfort usually associated with dental treatment and both Zaki and Dominique have been trained in Dental Homeopathy and Hypnotherapy to help you with this.

Will the treatment affect my speech?

In most cases dental treatment will not effect your speech. Although a local anaesthetic can make you feel numb, it shouldn't affect the way you communicate. Some treatments which involve braces for tooth straightening can affect your speech to a certain degree but in most cases this is temporary whilst you get used to the brace. Treatments such as smile makeovers, where we are possibly changing the shapes and lengths of your teeth may also give a slight alteration in speech but we will always test this with your provisionals before we proceed on with your final ceramic work.

Will I be able to clean my teeth?

In most cases cleaning your teeth as normal will be fine. If you receive braces, bridges or implants from us then we will make you aware of special considerations that you need when cleaning your teeth.

How much does it cost?

This depends on the treatment and ongoing care you require. We feel our prices are competitive and reflect the skill and time involved in each case, whilst delivering the great service you would expect. How do I pay for treatment?

We offer a range of payment options to suit you. We usually operate a pay as you go service but we are happy to offer a 0% interest alternative that allows you to spread your payments (subject to status). Please call us for more information so we can discuss the best method for you. We want all our patients to have the smile they’ve always wanted and we do not want cost to prevent you from having healthy teeth and gums.
