How Durathin Veneers work

Made of ultra-thin (0.2 - 0.4mm) porcelain, Durathin Veneers are like false fingernails for your teeth. They’re custom-designed one by one to match the exact shape and colour of your teeth and then bonded to their surface. Durathin Veneers can be placed straight onto your existing tooth enamel, usually without the need to prep it first and without the need for drilling. This means your natural teeth are not damaged in the process and makes the process reversible too.

The procedure of placing Durathin Veneers

Durathin Veneers can be placed in just three appointments:

First appointment: During your first visit, we’ll discuss your ideal smile and how to achieve it with Durathin Veneers. We’ll also take photographs of your current smile, take x-rays and give your teeth and gums a health check. To give you a preview of your new smile, we’ll sculpt some tooth-coloured resin to your teeth.

Second appointment: Here, we’ll discuss colours and shapes and use dental putty to take an impression of your teeth from which we’ll custom-make your Durathin Veneers one by one.

Third appointment: Finally, your new Durathin Veneers are fitted and your smile is transformed!
